Here is the Story Of is the team of Ben and Sally Winterman. We began our company after Ben was trying to think of a way to capture the stories of his grandparents on video in a professional and beautiful way. We decided it would be so cool if we could setup lighting, setup our professional equipment, shoot great footage, and then edit it all together into a professional package.
A couple of years ago, we filmed Ben’s grandmother, Peggy Winterman and put together a little package about her life. Everyone in the family loved and cherished having this keepsake that we can show our children and grandchildren in the future, to show what an amazing and sweet woman our “Me-Maw” Peggy is. We then did the same for Ben’s grandfather, Bill Heichelbech and it also turned out so great.
Sally’s family lost their grandparents a few years ago and they all commented on how much they wish they had captured the stories, the homes, the personalities of their grandparents before they passed. It was then that we decided we should start a business where we can help families in the Wichita, KS area capture these wonderful stories of our loved ones.
We put so much focus on it being the “Story” of the person, because it is so much more than just a video. It is a legacy of a great person who has influenced and inspired so many in their lives.
Ben has over 20 years of experience working in videography, capturing everything from wedding videos to music videos. Sally has over 15 years of experience in creative design and professional photography. Our skills together help create a timeless memory of the greatest Storytellers in our lives
